Anonymous asked: my hair is naturally dark dark brown. and i haven't colored my hair before. i'm thinking of having ombre hair this summer. should i bleach my hair first before applying the color or it doesn't matter? because some sources said that the color wont pop up as much if i color it while it's dark.

I have bought pink dye, and I thought that if I dyed it, the pink would go from darker to lighter..BUT I was wondering... Since bleached hair absorbes more colour, maybe it wouldn't turn out how I think it will (aka the pink being darker instead of lighter towards the ends?)
